Masaaki Suzuki shines in Madrid conducting the Spanish National Choir and Orchestra
Masaaki Suzuki has shown his excellence as a conductor with the Spanish National Choir and Orchestra (OCNE) for the first time in three concerts performing the ‘Elijah’ oratorio by Mendelssohn at Auditorio Nacional de Música in Madrid on 16, 17 and 18 March, accompanied by Rachel Nicolls, Anna Stèphany, James Gilchrist and David Soar as soloists. His amazing interpretation has been recognized by critics and audiences.
Masaaki Suzuki combines his career as a conductor with his activity as an organist and harpsichordist, considered an authority on Bach’s work.
